Learning Outcome 5 and 6

In my Significant Writing Project I used in text citations when I directly quoted from a source. For example, “I think that this is the part of me that really connects to the quote, “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” because when you’re creating art and putting so much passion into the piece, it holds a place in your heart (Armstrong).” This is an example of an in text citation I put in my third writing prompt. I added an in text citation because at the beginning of the sentence I didn’t identify who was saying. It’s not a traditional quote sandwich that identifies the author so that it why I added the in text citation. The whole purpose for in text citations is to give the author credit for quotes they have said. I also found local revisions from my first draft that I fixed in my final draft. Local revisions are usually just misspelled words or missing/extra punctuation. I fixed misspelled words and sentence fragments for my final draft.
