Revision Plan

The goal of my revision is to make sure that my claims and other sentences make sense. My peers have pointed out that many of my thought begin to wander as another pops into my head. I would also like to put additional information in my essay to help make it even stronger.

My first step of this process will be to reread my essay aloud. When I do this, the mistakes and incomplete thoughts will be more apparent and I can mark them down. My second step will be to go back and finish the incomplete thoughts. I think this will be somewhat difficult because, by now, I may not even know what I was trying to say. The third and final step is to try to add more quotes for the EA’s side of the argument because it has been pointed out that their side is unevenly represented. I would also like to try and add my of my ideas in the body paragraphs where I summarize the two different view points. But the bottom line of all of this is to make sure it makes sense and that my ideas are clear! That is my Maine focus.

The challenge of trying to fix the confusing pieces of my essay may prove difficult so I might end up having to take sentences out. If this happens I will have to reread it again to ensure that it is still strong enough or if I need to add more evidence. If something proves too difficult I will try to look at it from many different angles. If it’s still too hard, I will ask both of my roommate for help, both took your course last semester. If they are busy, Hannah Little lives at the end of the hall and I will also ask her for advice. There are also the two text books available for help. Lastly I could always email you if all else fails.

You are well on your way! Please reach out if you’d like help. I think that outlining can be another great tool to keep your thoughts on track (as opposed to wandering around).
